  16. To all those that replied with the same problem:

  18. You eagerly install System 7.5 and find you have a flashing box that you cannot get rid of.

  20. Workaround:
  21.  
  22.     1. Install 7.5 as normal.
  23.     2. Restart as requested (Don't shutdown whatever you do!)
  24.     3. IMMEDIATELY install System 7.5.1 (Have it on the HD ready to go)
  25.  
  26. You should then be able to boot your SS-Mac7.5.1. At least I can now :)
